so this is a random thought.

i have this reoccurring dream where i am running away from something, like a dog or a sprinkler or i am trying to swim to the top of a pool but my muscles tense up and i find it hard to escape.

the one with the pool i was holding my breath and then i breathed in because i could no longer hold my breath but then i was able to breathe under water. I was trying to climb the little ladder in the pool but i kept slipping down.

my body just goes slow motion and it is so annoying because i'm like here we go again!

Do any of you have any reoccurring dreams that are annoying or peculiar or that you just feel like sharing?

I just had a dream, not reoccurring, but I think you might find interesting.

I had a man approach me during a dream to remind me of a situation which he was involved in another dream, however this man is not real (as in, I've never met him in reality) and his appearance was random. He then started talking about my other dream in great detail, since he was apart of it - and I ran away pretty quick. But I thought it was weird a character in my dreams would recall another dream.

I hope not I don't think I liked him or wanted to talk to him the second time I saw him. The dreams I remember are generally like this, on a scale of wtf.

one of the best dreams are when you realize that your dreaming while your dreaming and you do whatever you want, even if it's punching someone out, because you know it is all a dream...god, does that even make any sense?

yeah I've tried to have lucid dreams many times, winning maybe 2 of them. One of the two I realized I was dreaming then immediately woke up. My subconscious I guess is really strong?

I guess, but if i were you I'd want to do something crazy or silly just because i knew that it was all a dream.

A sprinkler? Running from a sprinkler? That's a crazy dream :lmao:

I do have quite a few recurring dreams I'd like to share :D

*Zombies, they're often after me. Funny thing is, most people dream that they can't run from them/move in slow motion, and the like. I CAN actually run and hide from them, but a few times they've caught up. Once, me and my sister had to stop a zombie-ghost wedding from happening!

*Shopping spree, I'm often in one. Ussually in shopping malls, but sometimes in department stores. Almost everytime I'm buying something Saint Seiya related, video games, ice-cream, or all of the above! This is frustrating, as I never get to use/try them in the dream and I wake up.

*Flying, come on, everyone dreams of this. The weirdest one was one I had to mount a duck and fly, but first I had to run to fill a P bar (like in Mario Bros 3).

zombie ghost wedding...that totally makes sense lol

maybe those things you buy are the things you most crave or your sleepy-self craves. Even though it would be frustrating i think that would be a fun dream to have.

mount a duck? again, a lot of sense there, that is so weird!
i had a flying dream once and it was the best...wait no...i think my favorite dream so far was swimming with dolphins. But then the dolphin turned into baby size and was bundled up in a baby blanket and i was cradling it in my arms while sitting in a taxi cab in the middle of traffic during a storm in the night. lol

Swimming with dolphins = I can see why that was your favorite dream  Although cradling baby dolphins would seem a lot more fun if you weren't stuck in traffic with it XD That sounds real crazy :psychotic: It sounds like a good idea for a surreal painting

it does! but i think the swimming part was better, the cab was crowded and humid and it was raining and it was dark

the painting would need a skewed angle, to make it more dramatic.
